David & Julie Dunlap’s coffee journey started in 2022 from dreams and visions—1677 Coffee Co is a by-faith, Kingdom-focused business. Every step has been by God’s grace, and they’re beyond grateful for the opportunity to serve their community, family, friends, and online customers. None of this would be possible without Him—or without you.

It’s been an exciting ride watching 1677 grow! The eCommerce and retail shop launched on July 5, 2023, and by January 11, 2024, the Coffee Shop was officially open. Now, in 2025, they’re already seeing growth locally and can’t wait to see what’s ahead.

1677 Coffee Co is more than just a coffee shop—it’s a small-batch specialty coffee roastery, an online storefront, and a welcoming neighborhood spot. They serve up handcrafted, house-made All Day items, along with a rotation of fresh-baked, locally sourced pastries.

Their coffee lineup includes single origins, signature blends, flavored coffees, and now—K-Cups! Whether you're grabbing a bag in-store, ordering online, or picking up some merch and swag, they’ve got something for every coffee lover.

At 1677, the goal is simple: to do all things with excellence. This journey has been built on faith, hard work, and the incredible support of this growing community. Dreams and visions are becoming reality—thank you for being part of it. And trust us… this is just the beginning!

MISSION PIECE FOR THE SHOP: THE MEANING OF 1677

This isn’t just a coffee shop—it’s a Kingdom assignment.

December 6, 2021, the numbers 1677 was given by God was not necessarily in a dream or a vision. Three times, in the middle of the night, the numbers rang out: 1677… 1677 louder… 1677 LOUDER—until it woke David, the founder, to write it down. What seemed like a mystery at the time has since been revealed as a prophetic blueprint.

The Numbers, the Message:

1 – New beginnings to bring multitudes to unity. A divine starting point. 6 – Restoration of imperfect man. Imperfect and in need of restoration. 7 + 7 a witness of God’s Spirit to restore the church. A double portion of spiritual completion and a witness of God’s Spirit restoring His people.

Put together, 1677 is a message: God is restoring imperfect people by His Spirit, bringing unity and new beginnings to His Church—and He’s using this place as a witness.

Every cup. Every conversation. Every gathering. It’s not about the coffee—it’s about the calling.
